The first functional prototype of DST 2.1 is now playing. And of course, we had to start with the subwoofer.

It is a 5.25" subwoofer in a 9.9 L enclosure, tuned to 35.5 Hz. This unit carries prototype serial number T1026B001.

Prototype seen straight from the front: a large driver with a brushed metal ring beside a smaller panel with a round port.

The finish is still in progress, and the photos are slightly enhanced. The prototype itself is real. So is the bass.

Prototype seen at an angle from the rear: terminals and nameplate on the left, the logo in the centre, a carbon-pattern top.

Final product coming soon.

The prototype is real. So is the bass.
